Time To Rant!

I really do appreciate the recent comments from Elise, KC and Anonymous. I really do ... but we need more. Elise, thank you for your regular comments. I do appreciate it.
I am sorry... I need some more feedback. I can't and won't continue without the regular comments.
There was not one comment about the Flickr pictures... not one. Those pics are some of the best TGirls Flickr has to offer that are shareable. No one has said anything about the Let's Ride story.
Who cares about the upcoming Chelsea story .. and yes it turned out wonderfully. Or even the upcoming reunion with my mates.
I don't need to wallow in my ego .. I have better things to do.
I know I am tired tonight. I am working on very little sleep in the last few days and my foot hurts but please i seek and need your feedback on a more regular basis. This isn't Quinn threatening me... this is Nikkij feeling a little ... maybe more than just a little under appreciated it! I hope you understand.

Thank You Elise!

Elise said .. Don't you dare go away! I adore this blog and all it's kinkiness. And I do try to make a point of commenting whenever I read or see something that appeals to me. I just wish more people would. Maybe their hands are just too preoccupied to type - I know that happens to me quite often;)

A Short Flurry Of Comments ...

Guilty as many others - visit regularly and enjoy the entire site, but rarely leave comments. Love the site and everything that you put up Nikkij - it interests both the masculine AND feminine sides of me - just all around exciting! Keep up the great posts! Thank you!

Plus you are training all these one handed typist, multi-tasking at its best. You should get a medal, a plaque, or at least a gift card.

But you are right, we visitors, should leave more comments and feedback. OK Nikkij I have been bad, I need my spanking now!

You Can Always Change Your Name ... I Did!

Today's Word "patronym"
patronym \PA-truh-nim\ (noun) - 1 : A name derived from the name of father or an ancestor, e.g. Johnson (son of John). 2 : A surname or family name.

"While the starlet came from an impressive patronym, her behavior both in public and in private was not at all becoming of the name."

From Greek patronymous (patronymic), from patri- (father) + -onym (name).

Meeting Chelsea for Drinks

Interesting call on my cell this morning.
Chelsea of Biker Randy (Let's Ride blog post) and Chelsea fame wants to have drinks this week. Just her and me. Of course I said yes!
Chelsea walked in on Randy and I Sunday morning. That's what happens when you hand out house keys. Any way Chelsea was none to happy catching us in bed last Sunday morning ... that is until I got up to use the bathroom. Her eyes went out of socket when she saw my clitty. (who says size doesn't matter, since I was bigger than her biker boyfriend Randy.) Anyway, that's my story and I am sticking to it!
We had wonderful threesome session that afternoon. I was looking forward to this past weekend but I think Chelsea had a twinge of threes company.
Not sure what to make of the rendezvous for drinks but I'm taking the high road ... Chelsea wants to get up front and personal again with Nikkij's clit!
What do you think? Am I dreaming with my clitty again?

Attitude

Women, men differ on climate attitudes
EAST LANSING, Mich. (UPI) -- Women are more likely to believe scientific consensus on global warming than men are, a U.S. study says. The findings challenge common perceptions that men are more scientifically literate, said Michigan State University sociologist Aaron M. McCright. The study is one of the first to focus on how the genders think about climate change, a university release said Tuesday. The findings also reinforce past studies that suggest women lack confidence in their science comprehension. "Here is yet another study finding that women underestimate their scientific knowledge -- a troubling pattern that inhibits many young women from pursuing scientific careers," McCright said. Understanding how the genders think about the environment is important, McCright said. "Does this mean women are more likely to buy energy-efficient appliances and hybrid vehicles than men?" he asked. "Do they vote for different political candidates? Do they talk to their children differently about global warming?" The gender divide likely is explained by "gender socialization," a theory that boys learn that masculinity emphasizes detachment, control and mastery, while a feminine identity stresses attachment, empathy and care -- traits that may make it easier to feel concern about the potential dire consequences of global warming, McCright said. "Women and men think about climate change differently," he said. "And when scientists or policymakers are communicating about climate change with the general public, they should consider this rather than treating the public as one big monolithic audience." Vino

Lee Dobbins
If you are planning a trip to California, then you might want to consider scheduling some time for a trip to visit some of the many California wineries. With the gorgeous weather and lush scenery this can be a wonderful way to experience some of the finer US wines. California wine is well known all over the planet and with over 200 days of sunshine each year this state boasts an ideal climate for growing wine of all kinds. In California, you will find 6 predominate varieties of wine. The Sauvignon Blanc is a white wine with a melony or herbal taste and is a good pairing with seafood. The Chardonnay can have a buttery taste and goes well with chicken as well as seafood. Of the red wines, you will find Pinot Noir which has a fruity taste, the Zinfandel which can be fruity, herbal or spicy, the Merlot which can have a fruity and floral flavor and the Cabernet Sauvignon. Along with the varieties above, you can find many other types of wine to peak your taste buds and California winery tours offer not only an inside look as to how the wines are made but also wine tasting as well as yearly festivals and events based around processing and harvesting. If you time your visit to California right, you can make the most of your winery tours. If you are thinking about adding some California wine tours to your schedule, here are some things to consider: 1. Plan your visit. As with anything else, planning ahead will help to insure a successful tour. The first thing you should do is decide which areas of California wine country you want to visit. Most places are near each other, so you can map out a visit where you can see a couple of wineries in one day. You can start by looking at websites which give information on wineries including tours and special events. Also, try the winery organizations and trade bureaus. 2. Make sure you make reservations. You may find that the wineries require an appointment if you want to try some wine tasting so it is a good idea to call ahead of time. Also, if you are traveling to California, be sure that you have your travel and hotel plans already booked before you start to look into winery tours. When scheduling tours, it is best to limit yourself to no more than 3 vineyards per day. You want to allow yourself enough time to see everything and traveling between wineries can take some time as well. If there are special events, you want to be sure to allow enough time for those too. 3. Know what you want to see. It will be in your best interest to know exactly where you want to go and what you want to see before you start on your trip. That way you won't waste time arguing over which direction to go in. If you can get a driver that knows the area, all the better. Some wineries in California are small while others are quite large. In some you may see the farmers picking grapes by hand while others use machines for harvesting. Either way, you are sure to have a fun filled day with your family and maybe even learn a little about the California wine business to boot!

Tanning

Sunless tans popular for cosmetic reasons
WORCESTER, Mass. (UPI) -- Some 10 percent of U.S. adolescents use sunless tanning products, but they use them more for cosmetic reasons, not to prevent skin cancer, researchers say. Sherry L. Pagoto of the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester and colleagues found receiving information about skin cancer -- including an ultraviolet radiation-filtered photograph showing sun damage to their skin -- helped people reduce sun bathing. "Encouraging sunbathers to switch to sunless tanning could have an important health impact, but sunless tanning has been considered a cosmetic more so than a healthcare tool," Pagoto and colleagues say in a statement. The study, published in the journal Archives of Dermatology, recruited 250 women -- 125 assigned to receive information about skin cancer and sunless tanning while the other 125, the controls, received free cosmetic samples not related to skin health. After two months, participants who had receiving sun damage information were sunbathing less frequently, having fewer sunburns and using more protective clothing than those in the control group. After one year, the intervention group still sunbathed less and also used sunless tanning products more frequently than the control group.

Looking For The Battery?

Swallowed disc battery requires surgery
COLUMBUS, Ohio (UPI) -- Swallowing a disc battery can lead to severe esophagus injury, U.S. doctors warn. Dr. Stanley Kimball of Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, Ohio, and colleagues reviewed medical charts from a 10-year period and conclude severe injury can occur rapidly following disc battery ingestion and recommended endoscopic surgery to remove the battery to avoid life-threatening damage to the esophagus. The study, published in the Archives of Otolaryngology -- Head & Neck, revealed out of 10 patients, three had minimal damage to the esophagus and the other seven patients had more severe damage. Five sustained damage to the smooth muscle lining the esophagus and two, who had a delayed diagnoses, experienced a perforation of the esophagus. "A disc battery is an increasingly common foreign body ingested by children," the study authors say in a statement. "When the battery is lodged in the esophagus, its alkaline contents can leak, causing tissue death and burns from electrical discharge. The researchers, noting the patients averaged 3.2 years old, urged parents need to be alert to the hazard.

TGirl Thrown Across The Room

Lightning shock throws woman across room

WAKEFIELD, Mass. (UPI) -- A Massachusetts woman said she received a shock when she touched an iron after her house was struck by lightning. Jo Frechette, 55, of Wakefield, said she was preparing for work at about 7:30 a.m. Wednesday when she heard a strange sound that she later discovered was lightning striking her home, The Boston Globe reported. Frechette said she was thrown a distance of 6 feet when she placed her right hand on her iron. "Everything seemed to happen in such a flash second," Frechette said. She said she does not know whether the shock knocked her out, but she got off the ground when the phone rang and discovered she had "no feeling in my right arm and felt tingling all the way up to my face." Frechette said doctors told her the shock affected her right eardrum and equilibrium but expected her to make a full recovery within about 48 hours.
