Have you ever been eaten on a boat in ego alley? Would you like to be?

I have enjoyed sex while docked in Ego Alley ... I would love to stand on deck -- semi naked -- while my MAN turned his huge boat through Ego Alley.

The Annapolis City Dock is known to local boaters as "Ego Alley" because it is the weekend and evening scene of a steady parade of expensive yachts.

Years ago the city dock area of Annapolis Md was just that. A city dock. It is where oyster, clam, fish and crab boats docked for the night and left the next morning to go ply their trade out in the Chespaeake Bay. The pungent smells of their catch each day waffed through the streets as they sold to the fish mongers and the public in the waning hours of the day.
But alas, times changed and the work boats were banned from the city dock area. Over time pleasure and sailboats took over their place and eventually the name of the small little port area at the city dock was dubbed 'Ego Alley' Why you might ask?
Well as more and more power and sailboats took over the rivers and bay one of the pleasures of a trip out for a boater was to manuever their craft through the narrow alley (port) area of Annapolis. Boats so big you would stare in awe wondering how they would ever get turned around and back out. We would say...look at them...they are on a ego trip just wanting to show off their boat and viola....over time the little port area of Annapolis was dubbed 'Ego Alley.'
Today the slips at the dock are rented out and on any given day boats large and small are docked there. Some are decked out in small lights and the owners, along with friends, are sitting on their decks drinking wine or beer and watching all the tourists and locals walk by. I guess you could say it's a die hard boaters way of celebrating a night on the town.
