BALTIMORE, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Police in Baltimore said they arrested a man accused of breaking into a woman's home, stealing her panties and sending her cellphone pictures of the underwear.
The victim called police Feb. 2 and said she arrived home to find her back door had been pried open and a thief had taken cash, a gold necklace, a gold bracelet and a pair of red thong panties, The Baltimore Sun reported Friday.
She said she received a picture message on her phone after the burglary from the man who had given her the jewelry that had been taken. The pictures featured the victim's stolen panties.
The woman said she received multiple taunting texts from the man before arranging to meet with him to retrieve the panties.
Manuel Loja, who the victim described as a friend, was arrested when he showed up to meet the woman and was charged with two counts of burglary, theft and destruction of property.
